Noora Hintsa

I’m Noora, a 34-year-old ultra-trail enthusiast from Turku, Finland. My love for trail running began in 2018 with an 83km race I joined on a whim. Since then, exploring tough terrains—forests, mountains, deserts, and now jungles—has become my passion. Especially multi-day events are inspiring!

This year’s highlight?
Tackling 230km in 5 days from the Andes to the Amazon in the Beyond the Ultimate Jungle race. Pushing limits in extreme environments is what I love most!

Other favorite races: NUTS Karhunkierros (166km), Trans Gran Canaria (84km/4900m), and Marathon des Sables (242km). Now, as a member of Alppitalli, my goal is to learn how to compete and push my performance further.

When I’m not on trails, I work as a performance coach and pursue PhD research on exercise habits.
